This customer in Moorestown, NJ called us to see if we could turn their previous epoxy floor that was not holding up into one of our beautiful, long lasting garage floors. Sometimes our process requires a more extensive surface preparation. In this case, we ground the floor and applied a full body, self-leveling epoxy material to address the concrete defects.

Our process started by grinding both the floor and the stem walls (perimeter foundation). Since there was a failed epoxy coating on both the floor and stem walls, we used special diamonds to remove the existing coating. Once we ground up the existing coating, the self-leveling coat was applied. We then applied our normal, 5 layer system with Cobblestone being the chip color.

The rest of the process went very smoothly. As we applied the final Polyaspartic clear coat, the customer could clearly see the quality of the floor they were getting.
